RECOMMENDATIONS OF PREVENTION MEASURES AGAINST THE INFLUENZA “A” H1N1
The Bishop recommends that each parish immediately adopt at its Eucharistic Celebrations the following prevention measures:
1. to replace the handshake at the sign of peace with a simple bow to each other;
2. to cease to offer communion from the cup;
3. to cease to offer the possibility of receiving communion on the tongue;
4. to invite all Eucharistic Ministers to use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 62% alcohol, preferable in the Sacristy.
These measures should be in place until the risk of contagion from this influenza “A” is eliminated.  Thank you for your cooperation.
