SUMMERTIME PRAYER
Dear Lord,
thank you for this summer season.
During this time, may we remember
the gift of the world you have given us.
For a while each summer of our lives is different.
It is their similarities that bring joyful anticipation.
For you, there is no beginning or end,
and all things are eternal and at one time.
Yet we, who are bound to time,
see and learn all things through beginnings and endings.
As spring ends and summer begins,
may we see your reflection in this and every summer.
For though you are unchanging and eternal,
there is always more to discover, experience and learn.
Amen.
