FATHER LARRY CELEBRATES....
Sincere CONGRATULATIONS to Fr. Larry on the 16th Anniversary of his ordination May 1st. We celebrate with you and will keep you in our prayers as you faithfully and unselfishly give of yourself, teaching and spreading God’s word.
ADULT ALTAR SERVERS
We are in need of altar servers for our Saturday, 4:30 p.m. mass. As we cannot get the youth to serve at this mass on a regular basis, we would like to establish a pool of adult altar servers who would be scheduled. To start, we would just need one adult to serve with the responsibility of carrying the cross at the beginning and end of mass. Training will be provided. Please see Maria Santoro or Fr. Larry.

SUNDAY MASS TIME SURVEY
The ad-hoc committee examining our Sunday Mass times made their report to Parish Council. A copy of this report can be viewed on our web page at: http://olhope.diocesessm.org/
In short:
1. There is not enough interest and support for a Sunday evening mass, so this will not happen.
2. There is a majority of support for one Sunday morning mass at 10:00am. However, there are several weekends like Thanksgiving, Sacramental Inscription, Palm Sunday & Easter Sunday where two masses are needed to accommodate visitors. Thus to make the transition easy and reasonable we will be extending our summer mass schedule to now include the months of June and September, along with July and August. So beginning & including Sunday June 8th and ending & including Sunday September 28th, we will only have one (1) mass on Sunday morning at 10:00am. The Saturday 4:30pm mass stays the same.
Thank you to all who participated in this decision.

ATTENTION ALL YOUTH
Attention Children and Youth: St. Patrick and Christ the King parish have partnered in order to offer the following 2 retreat/activities focused on the Eucharist to prepare for the 2:00pm liturgy for the Feast of Corpus Christi to be celebrated at Christ the King Sunday May 25th at 2:00pm with Bishop Plouffe. The following 2 events begin at 10:00am in the hall of Christ the King Church
Youth Grades 7-12: The National Evangelization Team (N.E.T.) will be at Christ the King church Sun. May 25th helping youth find answers to the following…Do you think it is necessary for Catholics to attend mass? Do you think Mass is boring, find yourself distracted or check your watch often? Do you think of the countless other things you could be doing with that one hour of your life? If you can relate to any of these, you may find it hard to believe that N.E.T. will share with you that this same event, the Mass, can be a life-changing and fulfilling experience. Come spend a day with 12 N.E.T. members ages 18-25 as well as area youth in a high energy experience using large and small group discussions, music, skits and the sharing of personal stories by team members.
Attention: Parents/caregivers of Children in Gr.3-6: You and your children are invited to attend a fun-filled day to learn more about the Eucharist in an activity day reflecting on What We Do At Mass. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. FOR BOTH EVENTS: Please bring a bag lunch. A procession of the Blessed Sacrament through Sudbury’s downtown will take place with Bishop Plouffe after the 2:00pm Mass. This will take place rain or shine so please bring rain gear for any inclement weather. Ste. Anne des Pins Parish will host A BBQ following the procession. Registration fee is $5.00 payable at the office of St. Patrick’s. Register with Stephanie Manarin 522-3900 x 210 for the
